You can use a glitter bomb to make a room sparkly, or at a sleepover or party for fun!
Steps
-
Make the base of the "bomb".
- To do so, take play dough or a plastic Easter egg.
- With play dough, Make a big circle and cut it in half.
- Hollow the two sides out, fill them with glitter, stick them together, and let it harden.
- Or, for a simpler method, fill a plastic Easter egg with glitter instead.
-
Find a suitable area for your glitter bomb. Outdoors is best, but if you want to, you can throw it in a room.
-
Make sure you have a landlord/parent/guardians' permission.
-
Throw them at something, and they should open or break, revealing a mess of sparkles floating.
Tips
- Play dough is the best method, though you should absolutely make sure it's dry and has hardened; otherwise it will not work.
- If the play dough cracks while drying, take some leftover from hollowing it out to seal it.
Warnings
- If you don't let the play dough harden, it won't work.
- Make absolutely sure you have permission before doing this- you don't want to get in trouble.
- If you have animals (wild or domestic), make sure the glitter you use won't cause any harm if accidentally ingested.
