  • Make sure all the polish is dry before applying second coat!

  • Excessive polishing of the hooves will cause dry or cracked hoof wall. Only polish when necessary.
  • Only oil your horse's hooves when necessary or for special occasions. By oiling your horses hooves you are blocking out natural moisture that is needed to keep your horses hooves healthy. It can also cause countless hoof problems.
  • Make sure that glitter hoof polish isn't illegal in shows that you will be entering, or you could lose points, especially for halter classes.
