Do you want to glitz up an everyday old pair of jeans? This guide will show you how!
Steps
-
Spread out your newspaper so everything you wouldn't want damaged is covered up, or you can cut the side edges off of a trash bag.
-
Spread out your jeans. Make sure they're not folded anywhere.
-
Lightly spray an area of your jeans with adhesive. Be sure to do it in a small area so the adhesive won't dry up.
-
Sprinkle glitter over the wet area, just don't pour too much in one area, unless you want to.
-
Finish one side at a time. Let the side dry thoroughly, then flip over and do the other side.
-
Let your jeans dry out, maybe for a couple of days.
-
Wear your jeans full of sparkle with confidence.
Tips
- Be sure to get glitter on the hems and crotch.
- Chose a darker wash jean, perhaps black or navy, and maybe a skinny leg for a trendier look.
- You can apply glitter certain areas, like fading, more, or you can have it be the only area.
- You can do sparkle spots by adding more glitter to certain areas.
- Wearing your jeans with a top full of sparkle, belt and shoes can give you a sexy club look.
Warnings
- Don't apply too much glitter, because that's kind of tacky, unless you want them to be tacky.
- Do this in a well ventilated area, like outside or an open garage.
- Don't shake your jeans until they are completely dry.
