Are you tired of watching your balloons pop? Here's how to make them pop resistant! Perfect for impressing people at parties and crowds too!
Steps
-
Inflate the balloon until it's almost full. Tie it off as you would normally.
-
Coat a wooden skewer with cooking oil on both sides.
-
Hold the skewer with one hand and the balloon in the other. Make sure that the knot of the balloon in on the balloon's "equator" rather than on the "poles".
-
Slowly pierce the balloon with the skewer , twisting and taking care to enter at the knot and exit exactly opposite (where there should be a small amount of slack).
-
Equally carefully, remove the skewer and hold the balloon by pinching the far hole. The balloon will not burst but will begin to slowly lose air.
Tips
- If you're doing this as a trick, in places where you would hold the balloon, make sure your assistant holds the balloon instead.
Warnings
- Don't let your audience see you pour the oil on the balloon.
