Have you ever seen a cauliflower on your plate at dinnertime? Almost everyone has. But have you ever seen a cauliflower sheep on your plate? This recipe will tell you how to make a cute little cauliflower sheep out of every-day ingredients. Have fun!

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower, as many as you want. The cauliflowers are going to be the body, so however many sheep you want, each one has to have a cauliflower.
  • Black Olives. These will be for the heads, and also for the legs.
  • Black eyed peas. These will be for the eyes, so however many sheep you want, multiply by 2 and that will be how many black eyed peas you will need.
  • Raisins. These are optional, as shown in the video. These can be used as a leg substitution, if you cannot figure out how to do the olives as the legs.

Steps

  1. Take out your cauliflower; these will be the bodies.

  2. Now take a toothpick and pick up one of your olives, along with the cauliflower. Insert the toothpick into an olive so that the olive is at the top of the toothpick. This will be the head.
  3. Taking your knife, cut a small slit in the top of the olive, then set your knife down. Pull open the flaps on the sides, making 2 ear-like forms. These will be the ears.
  4. Take two toothpicks and attach two of your black eyed peas to them.
  5. Insert those toothpicks into the "Head" so it looks like eyes. These will be the eyes.
  6. Now to make the legs. Form an olive onto a toothpick to make a leg, or take he raisins and put two of them onto a toothpick. Either one would work.
