Making a rainshaker is as simple as making a sandwich! All it requires is a bit of cleaning up and some accuracy! Best of all, it takes only five to ten minutes to make!
Steps
-
Get a tissue roll tube. Once you have finished a kitchen roll, one of the long tissues, grab the grey tube that is inside it for your rainshaker.
-
You can do one of two things. You can now either get spare oats, rice or any other shaky thing for your 'shaky' bit of your 'rainshaker!'
-
Put the rice or whatever it is in, but hold the tube horizontally as you do so.
-
This part is slightly trickier. If you have any card or cardboard, that should do the trick but don't use paper. Cut out two circles of card/board and put it on the end of your rainshaker. Glue, staple or press it onto both separate ends to close the rainshaker.
-
If the circles are too large, cut out the excess parts.
-
Decorate your boring shaker and add tissue paper or sequins or whatever you want to the outside.
-
Shake it around all you want!
Tips
- Decorate your rainshaker as much as you like. There is no limit!
- You can also put one circle on first, put in the rice and then the other circle.
