Snow globes are great presents and are fun to watch. Learn how to make one here!

Steps

  1. Make sure the decoration you chose will fit inside the lid and the jar fits over the decoration onto the lid.
  2. Sand a small area in the center of the lid for your decoration.
  3. Using a hot glue gun, glue your decoration onto the bottom of the lid where you sanded. Allow the glue to dry for at least 20 minutes.
  4. Fill the jar with mineral oil or the water/glycerin mixture.
  5. Add glitter.
  6. Squeeze hot glue around the inside of the the lid so it seals when you put the lid on the jar. Screw the lid on the jar.
  7. Let the snow globe sit for about 30 minutes so the sealing glue has time to dry.
  8. Turn upside down and watch the "Snow" fall.
  9. Enjoy!

Tips

  • Put the cap on carefully.
  • Be sure to let the glue dry completely.
  • Don't shake the jar violently, shake it gently.
