Learn how to use a recycled toilet paper tube to make a beautiful toy bird.
Steps

Stuff the paper tube with toilet paper.

Paint the paper tube with a coat of white paint.

Paint the paper tube with a coat of yellow paint and let the paper tube dry for a few minutes.

Add feathers to each side of the paper tube.

Add Googly eyes to the upper portion of the paper tube.

Add red lace neck tie

Build the beak of the bird by cutting two triangles from the small piece of cardboard.

Attach the upper and lower portion of the beak by slightly bending the larger triangle downward and the lower upwards.

Add the tail feathers.

Paint the beak using orange paint.

Cut and attach the bird’s feet then paint orange.
Warnings
- Please note that sometimes we might use materials and tools that require adult supervision for small children. In this project, these materials include: Hot glue gun and scissors. Textile glue and safety scissors are an excellent alternative for small hands doing this project, so ask mommy and daddy for help.
