How to Make Homemade Paper Flowers

Do you want to make a flower? You can make a realistic flower, or an original one-of-a-kind flower! These flowers make good gifts!

1. Find some colorful paper. Origami paper is good too.
   
   
2. Cut the paper into flower shapes! (your ordinary four or five pedaled flower).
   
   
3. After making about 3 of these, take the pipe-cleaner and stick it through the middle of the flowers. The pipe-cleaner is the stem of the flower. (After doing this, you may want to bend the top end of the pipe-cleaner or attach a bead or a button so the flower does not come off).
   
   
4. Spray some perfume on the flower to make it smell good. Done, fabulous!

• After making a flower, try designing it and making more flowers.
• Try folding the petals of the flower to make it realistic.
• Try adding leaves by cutting them out of green paper and sticking the pipe-cleaner through it.
• Try making different sized flowers.
• Try stringing beads on to the flower's stem (pipe-cleaner).
• Try bending the ends of the pipe-cleaners so it will not prick your fingers.
• Spray the perfume 3 inches away from the flower to avoid drenching it.

• Do not spray too much perfume on the flower. It may damage the flower.
• If you're using a perfume that is not yours, be sure to ask first.
• Pipe-cleaners can prick your fingers if you're not careful.
