How to Reuse Plastic Bottle Caps

Looking for ideas to use discarded water bottles? One idea is to use them to seal plastic bags, like sandwich bags. This method is both environmental friendly and very useful at home.

1. Cut up a disposable water (or similar) bottle
   
   
2. Keep the neck and the cap. These are the usable parts
   
   
3. Insert the plastic bag through the neck from the bottom.
   
   
4. Fold the bag down around the threads of the bottle top.
   
   
5. Screw the bottle cap over the bag to seal.
   
   
6. Finished.
   
   

• The bag should be twisted around the neck so it holds better.
• Even a small water bottle cap can seal a large bag.

• Be careful when cutting the bottle
