Steps

  1. Crochet as follows:
    • 1st row - 13 sp.
    • 2nd row - Increase 2 sp on each end, follow design pictured, increasing as shown in design (click on design to increase size of photo).
  2. Crochet the edge for the bib.
    • Fasten cotton in sp, * 10 tr in 2nd sp, 1 s st in 2d sp. Repeat from *.

Tips

  • Crochet bibs are not exactly the most washing friendly bib available these days, so it is recommended to sew the crochet work onto an easily cleaned plastic backing sheet. You might also add plastic piping around the edges of the bib as you join the crochet piece to the backing.
