For a thick scarf in winter, this is best. Use 8ply baby wool for the best results, but it really doesn't matter that much. This is quite a long project, so be sure that you can set aside the time to complete it.

- Hdc in every st. Turn.
- Repeat 19 times. You have 20 rows of hdc.
- Ch 3.
- Dc in every st. Turn.
- Repeat last step.
- Ch 1.
- Sc in every st. Turn.
- Repeat last step.
- Dc in every st. Turn.
- Repeat last step.
- Continue as written unit l you have the desired length.
- Hdc the last 20 rows.

- You can Hdc all the way through for a plainer scarf.
