Steps

Start with a row or two of crochets in your desired length.

To begin your row of treble crochets, chain three.

Wrap your yarn over your hook, and insert your hook into the second chain from the hook. (This will give you three loops on your hook.) Then, yarn over and pull through one loop. Yarn over and pull through two loops. Finally, yarn over and pull through the last loops until you have only one loop on your hook.
