Steps

Buy a diary or notebook. You can get cheap ones in some shops, but you can get hardback ones in shops like Borders and WH Smith shops.

Take your diary home and find an old piece of fabric and get out some glue, scissors (if you are younger get an adult to help you) and a pen.

Lay your diary out flat and draw around the outline. Make sure that it's neat so that can fit on your book.

Cut around the line and wrap it around the diary.

Glue your fabric on the front cover so it goes onto the back.

Let the book dry before you do anything else!

Add all the other things, when it is done drying. (sequence, jewels, fabric, etc.)

Finished.
Tips
- Buy stickers! You could buy letter stickers, animals,stars and cartoon characters or just use ones that you get from a magazine.
- Experiment! You might want to use fabric from old clothes. Be different! STAND OUT!
- If it is a secret diary, hide it somewhere.

- Do not smell the glue.
- DO NOT smell the sharpie.
- Be careful with the scissors.
