The first impression you get of a letter isn't the introduction or even who it's from, but the envelope you receive it in! If you have some old maps to sacrifice, then here's an easy way to create stunning envelopes. Whether it's for a party invite or just for someone special, a topolope will captive its recipients.
Steps
-
Tools
- Carefully unfold a store bought envelope and place it on the backside of a map.
-
Mark each corner of the paper with a pen.
-
Use your knife to connect the dots!.
-
After you cut out the entire piece, use your model envelope to fold it in just the right way.
-
With folds in place, use a thin strip of double sided tape or strong glue to hold down the sides.
-
wood paper = MIGHTY
-
now you can flip it over and address it just like a normal envelope! although this one is much nicer looking... I suggest using a few small stickers to close it up when you're done.
Tips
- don't do drugs.
- stay in school.
- for a galactivating effect, skew the map grid with the rectangle face of your envelope.
Warnings
- knives are sharp.
