So you don't want to buy some over-priced invitations when you can make your own. The question is, how? Here is a simple how-to guide to make your own home made cards.
ESteps
-
Identify your audience and their colors. If your audience is a group of kids for a party, you would want bright colors like pink, green, blue, and reds. Neon colors work well, too. If your making wedding invitations, white will work best.
-
Type or write the basics. These are just examples:
- Congratulations Sue!
- When: July 21, 1997
- Where: 978 Crabgrass Lane, Texas
- Time: 1:00 P.M
- Find some envelopes that you can easily fit your invitations into.
- Find the address of who you want to invite. If you don't know where they live, look in a phone book or call them.
- Put a stamp, return address, and the address of the person you are inviting on the front of the envelope.
-
Put it in the mail and raise the flag!
Tips
- Add some pictures to your card that go along with what the invitation is for.
