So you don't want to buy some over-priced invitations when you can make your own. The question is, how? Here is a simple how-to guide to make your own home made cards.

ESteps

  1. Identify your audience and their colors. If your audience is a group of kids for a party, you would want bright colors like pink, green, blue, and reds. Neon colors work well, too. If your making wedding invitations, white will work best.
  2. Type or write the basics. These are just examples:
    • Congratulations Sue!
    • When: July 21, 1997
    • Where: 978 Crabgrass Lane, Texas
    • Time: 1:00 P.M
  3. Find some envelopes that you can easily fit your invitations into.
  4. Find the address of who you want to invite. If you don't know where they live, look in a phone book or call them.
  5. Put a stamp, return address, and the address of the person you are inviting on the front of the envelope.
  6. Put it in the mail and raise the flag!

Tips

  • Add some pictures to your card that go along with what the invitation is for.
