Tips

  • The more you fold the crease, the easier it will be to tear.
  • Lightly licking the edge of the fold while it is folded can lead to an easier tear, but sometimes not as smooth.
  • If you want really sharp creases, use a spoon or pencil to flatten the crease.
  • The thicker the paper, the better. But it still works on almost any paper.
  • Be careful not to tear important documents or currency.

  • Use scissors if you have to hand in a paper you cut. This is really only for taking a small piece of paper off the larger piece.
