Making paper flowers takes a lot of time and it is very involved the first time you try but it is worth persevering.
Steps

Make 8, 2" circles. It is recommended to use white 9 (this part won't even show). These will form the base. All of the measurements will be based on this size base. Cut out the circles.

Fold the 8 circles in half.

Glue them together so they make a sphere shape, like 2 "X"s over each other.

Cut out 8 more circles using a contrast color, such as gray (also 2").

Fold these pieces in half and glue them so that they are at an angle and gripping the base.

Finished.

- 6 different colors of paper. preferably in some sort of gradient.
- An Exacto™ knife
- Cutting board
- Scissors or a circle cutter
- Glue stick (good quality)
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Angle ruler to make a 45 degree angle with
- A compass (the drawing kind) for drawing circles
