How to Make an Origami Dog Face

It's simple, it's fun, it's origami! By following these instructions, you can make a very easy, very cute puppy dog face.

1. Get yourself a piece of square paper in a color of your choice. To make a square paper, get a normal paper, fold the top left corner to the bottom left corner and the top right corner to the bottom right corner. Trim or cut off all the rest that is not in the square.
   
   
2. Fold the paper in half diagonally so that you have a triangular piece of paper.
   
   
3. Make two smaller folds on the ends of the large triangle, to give yourself two smaller triangles. These will be the ears.
   
   
4. Draw an eyes and other facial features. Display your origami dog face proudly!
   
   

• Draw the face however you want - you could even have the dog's tongue sticking out a little! Or, you could draw a flower on its ear.
• There are many ways to fold origami dog faces - look them all up and try them. Don't limit yourself to just one!
• You will probably get it on the first try.
• There are plenty of variations - be creative.
• A 6x6 inch piece of a paper is a popular square size for origami! Use it when you fold your dog face for the first time - after you grow familiar with the steps, start using smaller or bigger pieces of paper!
• Try using different sized pieces of paper to create different sized dogs, or even consider writing a message on the inside of the dog's ears for a great birthday card!
• You could write on the back of the dog for a birthday card.

• Beware of paper cuts, if you get one, a simple bandage should do the trick. Be sure not to get one in the crease of your thumb and index finger on your writing hand.

• Any sized piece of paper as long as it is square
• Marker or pencil for face
