Do you like to play ninjas with your friends? You aren't alone! Read on to find out how to make these fun, realistic paper ninja weapons! You can make about 20 from one sheet of paper.

Steps

  1. Take a piece of paper and fold one edge in about 1 cm
  2. Use scissors to cut the strip off. You should have a long, thin strip of paper.
  3. Cut the strip of paper into four equal pieces.
  4. Take two of the pieces and lay them on top of each other to form an "X" shape.
  5. Glue or tape these together. If you use glue, let it dry before you do the next step.
  6. Take your "X" and pick one of the strips of paper. Fold both ends of the strip up and crease them so they stand up. Flip it over and do the same thing with the other strip. You should have a tripod shape. If you followed these instructions, you'll have a paper caltrop. Now, just make a whole bunch more!

Tips

  • These will probably be easier to use effectively if you throw about ten at a time. If you cut the ends of the caltrop on a diagonal, you can make them sharp. They might hurt a little this way.
