How to Fold a Box with Newspaper

This easy-to-make box can be made out of a sheet of newspaper. It also works with paper of other sizes and proportions, but this works best. A4 paper also works very well.It can be used as a handy trash container or to hold anything you want.

1. Get a sheet of newspaper.
   
   
2. Fold in half, from the bottom to top.
   
   
3. Fold in half again, from left to right.
   
   
4. Open the pocket and flatten it.
   
   
5. Flip over and repeat the last step.
   
   
6. Fold one layer of the left side over along the middle crease.
   
   
7. Flip over and repeat.
   
   
8. Fold one layer of the left side towards the middle.
   
   
9. Do the same on the right side.
   
   
10. Flip over and repeat steps 8 and 9.
    
    
11. Turn upside-down and fold down one layer of the top.
    
    
12. Flip over and repeat the previous step.
    
    
13. Open the box.
    
    

• To make a thicker box, use several sheets of newspaper together.
• In step 8, when you are folding towards the middle, you can also fold past the middle line. This will make the box taller.

• You may get a paper cut from this, so be careful.
