If you have matchboxes, they can be made into excellent little gift or parcel decorations that can be placed on top of cakes, cupcakes, gift wrapping, etc. While they're easy to make, they're very effective decorations.

Assemble the supplies needed. These are listed below.
- Measure and cut out the paper for covering the matchbox.
- Glue into place.
- Tie on a ribbon to make it look like a little parcel.
- Add a bow or button for additional decoration.

Use the little gifts or parcels. Place them atop a cupcake or cake, add to craft items or use as a hanging decoration.
- Make several and turn into a pile of parcels on top of a cake for a very effective decoration.
Tips
- Use fabric in place of paper if you have lovely fabrics. Cut to size and glue on.
