This is an easy way to make a case for a single Gameboy Gamepak out of paper.

Steps

  1. Paper with Gamepak in center

    Grab a piece of paper and a Gamepak.

    Trace the shape of the Gamepak with a pencil on the middle of the piece of paper.
  3. Bottom square
     Bottom square
    Repeat step two right below the already traced shape.
  4. Rectangles on sides
     Rectangles on sides
    On each side of the middle shape and the bottom, with the same height but thinner in width, draw arectangular shape.
  5. Top rectangle

    Right on top of the first shape, with the same width but a little smaller in height, draw a rectangular shape.
  6. After being cut out
     After being cut out
    Cut the outlined shape with a pair of scissors.
  7. Front folded

    Fold the bottom square so it lays on top of the other square.
  8. Almost done

    Rectangles taped, when viewed from behind

    Fold the rectangles so they're behind the middle square. Tape the sides so they stay in place.
  9. Front flap

    With the small rectangle on top, fold it so it's on top the middle square.
  10. Carefully insert the Gamepak so it can take shape which widens the case. You might need to re-tape the thin rectangles a few times if there's not enough and it comes apart.
  11. All finished!

    Take the top rectangle, fold it over the middle square, and you've made yourself a Gameboy Gamepak case! It also looks nice if you decorate too!

Tips

  • Be patient, if it doesn't work, keep trying!
  • Be creative and decorate the case with markers, crayons, etc.
