How to Make a Giant Cootie Catcher

Have you ever seen a giant cootie catcher? Read on and learn how to make one for yourself.

1. Get some poster board.
   
   
2. Fold the poster board to make a perfect square.
   
   
3. Fold it diagonally (both ways) then fold in half (again both ways). This is done just to create creases. 
   
   
4. Fold every corner into the middle. 
   
   
5. Flip it over and fold every corner into the middle on this side as well.
   
   
6. Flip it over and write a color on each flap (4 flaps, 4 different colors).
   
   
7. Flip it over and write the numbers 1-8 on each little triangle (1 number per triangle. 
   
   
8. Open it up, write a fortune under each number (8 numbers, 8 different fortunes).
   
   
9. Fold everything back up and insert your pointers and thumbs of both hands into the 4 pockets under the colors. Try it out on your friends!
   
   

• Write interesting questions in the flaps, but nothing that would hurt anyone's feelings. You want to keep this game fun!
