Want to make a fast paper plane have longer time in the air and not crash too much? Read on and learn how to make a fast, pointy airplane steadier and reduce crashes!
If you could ride on paper airplanes,I would definitely ride on this one!
Steps
-
Make the simplest pointy-nosed airplane you can find.
-
Slightly bend a row that sticks out on the outer edge of the wings. Remember that this row has to be of equal height all the way from the nose to the end of the wing.
-
Cut two slits on the middle of the end of a wing (opposite the nose) about one inch apart from each other.
-
Fold the flap slightly up.
-
Repeat steps #3 and 4 on the other wing.
-
Fold the nose backwards, make the crease about three quarters of an inch from the tip.
-
Fold forward another time on the flap you made on step #6 on itself so that the tip is now pointing at the same direction it originally, but it looks almost like a stair step.
-
Give it a toss! It should not only be steadier than before, but have a longer flight time!
Tips
- First start out on simpler airplanes, then you can try more complicated models
- Don't toss the plane too hard, or it'll mess up and crash
Warnings
- Never, ever throw this plane at any kind of living thing! It can cause some serious damage
Things You'll Need
- Paper
- A good hand for throwing
- Climate controlled area for best results (indoors, no fans or wind sources)
