Making a picket sign really is easy. It is a good way to tell the world - or at least the people around you - what you think.
Steps
-
Take a big paper.
-
Write your slogan, words or whatever on the paper.
-
Tape the dowels to the sides of the paper.
-
Use your picket sign by holding onto the dowels!.
-
Finished.
Tips
- The paper should be a light and faded color, maybe yellow, light pink, or orange. The background is (often) not important; the message is. A color like neon pink or lime green caught attention from the text; although this will make people watch the picket sign more.
- The text color should be very eye catching and draw much attention, like lime green.
- Use a lot of tape! You do not want your picket sign to break in the middle of a demonstration, match or wherever you use it.
- Using a paper which already is colored saves you from coloring the background.
- A good paper size is at least A3. Of course, you could choose which size you want, but a paper smaller than A3 will not be that good.
- If you want to use just one dowel, tape it to the middle of the paper.
Warnings
- Do not use your picket sign in strong wind. This may break the picket sign.
- Do not have the dowels near any faces, because it can hurt people, especially if touching the eyes, maybe.
