I opened a white, cherry blossom corner decorated sheet file into my image editor. Then I added one of the Japanese Washi sheets behind it to form a frame. After this I added a black background sheet and cut areas from the washi sheet to make smaller inner and outer frames which were now formed from the black background becoming visible.
Next I added an image of a Japanese doll in the middle. The kimono of the doll was solid color so it was easy to remove. After this I added the same Japanese Washi sheet behind the doll and trimmed off the excess. Now I had a new kimono for the doll. Then I added two Japanese kanji-signs into the image: the upper one is peace and the lower one is luck.
If my printer worked properly, I would print the sheet a few times and cut out the corner cherry blossoms to make decoupage, as well as the doll.
