Strawberry Shortcake PapersCompleted by Gwyneth George
This is a lovely pack of designs that work well for scrapbooking and for matting and layering for cards, but for this card I decided to use three of the patterns from the pack to cut out a fancy frame topper in my electronic cutting machine.
I printed the three designs out onto 250gsm Super Smooth white cardstock and then fed them into my machine to cut out three of the layers of file cup310719_1492, a greetings panel and lots of little flowers.
I also cut out another layer of the file out of white, linen textured cardstock.
I used quick grab wet glue to stick the top three layers together, clear foam squares to attach these to the backing panel of the topper, and then attached this to the front of an easel card that I'd created by scoreing the front of a 6" square scalloped edge white card at the half way point using my Hougie Board.
I finished off by attaching the greetings panel - which says "Diolch" - which is Welsh for "Thank You" - using 2mm deep double sided foam tape, and attaching the flowers with glue gel after shaping them a bit.
