Oh Boy but life is a bummer !
After hubby in hospital in 2020 with covid and me with multiple successive fractures to my hand in 2021 and 2022 (6 in total so I felt as though the plaster casts were an integral part of my person) preventing me from doing anything interesting with my hands, I started this year with news that my husband has 2 seperate cancers and a fall that broke ribs and an ankle. I could now manipulate a computer mouse but couldn't climb the stairs to get to the computer. Hubby is now in chemo giving me a little time to get all those niggly jobs done and creating and making up my cards.
Whenever someone buys or even hugs one of my designs, it gives me just the boost I need to keep going, especially now so thank you all for your support.
I live in France with hubby Michel and our Cavalier, Ravel. I can't bear to have idle hands .. I knit, sew, embroider, make cards, jewellery, clothes, play the piano, clarinet, flute and the organ in local churches and still find time to cook (I LOVE desserts) and walk the dog ! Busy is just great now as it stops me ruminating on the future. You will find my life and my outlook on life in many of my cards. I am always open to suggestions and quite of few of my cards have been designed in response to particular demands ... so dare to ask. If I can, I will, IF inspiration strikes.
