This week we took a trip to the zoo!
We were due to take them during the 6 week holidays but because we got married and a lot of things happened we didnt have chance, so we took surprise trip there! the boys loved it of course.Sadly a lot of things were closed because of the weather but we still got to see most of the stuffWe sat and had some sandwiches in the outside picnic area and this little bird hopped on to our table, he got so close that my husband managed to hand feed him
So following on from my last news update my amazing auntie and uncle flew over from Australia for a weeks for my wedding, I love when they come over they are a huge part of my family and love every single moment! they took charge in my wedding and picked my song for my first dance which was one of my favourites. Its always sad when they leave but they will be retiring soon and coming over for a year which is soooo exciting!
Anyway yesterday I had a knock at the door from the post man asking me to sign for a parcel (I havent ordered anything!) and I recognised the stamp and it was all the way from Australia!
They had sent me a photo album that they had made up using the photos they took! made me cry!!
Well as most of you know I got married on the 18th august which is why I havent been around much on craftsuprint, however I am back!
It was a lovely small ceremony with just close friends and family which was what I wanted, the day went smoothly and just the way i wanted it too, my brother girlfriend was my maid of honour, my cousin and my neice were my flower girls and my two handsome boys were my ring bearers! it was lovely to have all the family together to celebrate something in the family!
Thank you for all the messages from my customers and fellow designers and thank you to CUP for the message too!
And a very special thank you to Suzi Copper who took the time to send me a beautiful handmade card which is still on my fireplace! xxx
We took a little trip to brean sands to have a day out when the weather was nice (in Britain you have to strike when the sun is out could be a tsunami the next day!) we had a little wander on the beach then hit the fair ground, the boys went on rides and enjoyed ice creams was a really lovely family day out, then my youngest son Taylor spotted a astronaut! (he thought he was real who am I to ruin his moment haha) after plucking up the courage to go over and shake his hand we managed a quick picture! :D xx
During the bad winds we had a few weeks ago our facia boards at the side of the house took flight!
So at the moment our house is covered in scaffolding and with two boys ( 7 & 5 ) it was bound to be a disaster!!
So after days of telling my boys to stay away from it and play somewhere else we eventually had a accident, my youngest son was busy throwing a ball and ran straight into the pole!
This is the result :( luckily there is no black eye today which im really pleased about because im off for a family holiday next Friday!! :D
