Dogs

There's nothing quite like a dog at your feet,
It makes you feel whole,
It makes you complete,
And when after a long country walk is done,
He's covered in mud,
Oh boy what fun!
He's loving, he's boisterous,
He's faithful and more,
He's that four legged friend,
That you'll always adore.

There's a place I am sure you know
Where all our beloved doggies go
Where the sun always shines but it's never too hot
And there they eat, drink and play a lot
Angels they bring them treats galore
In return for the shaking of their paw
Cuddly toys, squeakies or ball
There's plenty of these for them all
So worry not and no need to grieve too
They will wait there patiently for you
When it's time and they will know
And to the gates of heaven they'll go
When once again together you'll be
As one big happy family

A dog is your companion,
Your buddy and your friend,
He will always be faithful to you,
Right up to the very end,
He'll never ask for anything,
Just a walk, a pat, some food,
He'll always raise your spirits,
If you're feeling low in mood,
So say hurrah for all dogs,
The big ones and the small,
For I know if your house was large enough,
You'd give homes to one and all!

He listens to your problems,
He's there at your command,
He's always at your beck and call,
Especially if you have treat in hand,
He doesn't mind your pyjama days,
Or your tears that you might shed,
He's there when you wake each morning.
And there when you go to bed,
You could search the whole world over,
And never find a more faithful friend,
He asks nothing more of you,
Than your love until his days end.

He's someone I can rely on,
On days when I've had enough,
He brightens my world with the wag of his tail,
When things have been rather tough,
We walk together through wind and rain,
He's always by my side,
And when I go to sleep at night,
By my side he will abide.

You have a little puppy,
A bundle of fur and fun,
He'll bring you so much laughter,
A great time has just begun,
He'll wag his tail,
He'll give a bark,
He'll be full of fun each day,
He won't ask very much of you,
Just a little place to stay,
Oh yes he'll need a walk,
And yes some food to eat,
But another faithful friend like him,
Will be very hard to beat!

Cold wet nose,
Waggly tail,
Four little furry paws,
You have a little puppy,
For you all to love and adore,
You'll walk him,
Teach him,
Train him,
Give him a hug or two,
For from now on your canine friend,
Will forever be faithful and true.

I have a little puppy,
Someone to call my own,
I have a little puppy,
Snuggling in my home,
He's cute and bright and cuddly,
Just like all puppies should be,
So why don't you just pop round here,
To have a look and see!

Your Dog, Your Buddy, Your one true Friend,
A tail for ever wagging,
A wet nose at the other end!
He's there by your side through the good times and the bad,
Your four legged friend is the best friend you've ever had.

I decided to take my dog for a walk
Just as it started to rain
I had no umbrella or coat with me
You probably think I'm insane

Well No, I know what I'm doing
I haven't quite gone round the bend
I just love the feel of the rain on me
Even though I get soaked in the end

Your little friend is always by your side
Wherever you may go
The great love your pet feels for you

Thinking Of You And Your Friend

I can see you love your dog
Walking him / her every day
You obviously cherish its company
Enjoying every step of the way

I love to sniff the grass
It tells me which dog passed
It tells me all the news
From the first dog to the last

I tell the other dogs
That I walked upon this grass
I know that they will know that

Goodbye my old friend
I'm sorry to see you go

In a tangle of wool so bright and fine,
A dachshund wriggles, trying to unwind.
Birthday wishes, wrapped in each loop,
For joy and laughter in a continuous hoop.

May your year be like this playful spree,
A bundle of happiness, wild and free.
With every unravel, may you find,
Joy, love, and happiness intertwined.

In the light of the sun, where the sea meets the sand,
A pirate corgi takes a stand.
With treasure and tales of the deep blue sea,
He wishes, "A Happy Birthday Adventure to Thee!"

On his ship, with sails unfurled,
He barks, "Let’s explore the world!"
With paws on deck and tail in the breeze,
"May your year be filled with discoveries and ease!"

A dog strolled into a bar one day,
With a face so long, you'd think he'd lost his way.
The bartender asked, with a curious tone,
"Why such a long face, did you lose your bone?"

The dog just sighed, then gave a smile,
"I did, but I won't let that cramp my style.
I'm here to dig up a good time, you see,
A little fun is all I need to be carefree."

So let's raise a glass to finding joy,
Even when life seems to annoy.
For happiness is never far,
Especially with friends, in this bar.

Happy Birthday to the best pooch in the world.
You make me a better person, every single day.
You drive me barking mad at times,
But I wouldn't be without you.
You are one top dog!

I may be only very small
but my love is huge
for you my dear owner.
You feed me care for me
look after me so well
so my heart is yours!

We went for a walk around the park
We have to be home before it's dark
My human friend doesn't like to stay late
But I don't mind FOR GOODNESS SAKE,
THEY KNOW I WILL BARK AND CAUSE A STIR
IF ANYONE COMES AND FRIGHTENS HER

When I saw you at the pound, I knew you were a special hound. Those puppy dog eyes sent a 'pick me' plea, and I knew you were the one for me. xxx

My Rescue Dog is my best friend,
He helped my broken heart to mend.

He's always there when I feel low,
My love for him just grows and grows.

So grateful for the times we share,
And thankful for his loving care.

So glad that you're my buddy,

Even if they're muddy!

When I return home from town
