My gorgeous girl Isabella went for her first annual health check last week and was declared perfect....well, i always thought she was anyway!

I explained to the vet that although she doesnt go out as such, she has great fun running around the house and our enclosed garden, which helps to keep her fit and healthy.

In fact, she loves nothing more than playing football with us, she is a great goal keeper! At the end of a busy day her favourite place to relax is her radiator bed. She will snuggle down on there for hours, stretching occasional before turning over and getting comfy again.

It isnt a bad life is it..... being a puss

This little cutie is called Isabella and she is the latest addition to our family. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old and she is now almost 5 months.... where has that time gone?!

She really is the most adorable little thing and has me in fits of laughter most days with her funny antics.

She follows us from room to room and bounds up the stairs with such speed.... i wish i could move as fast!

I love that she keeps me company whenever i craft, even though she loves to walk over my newly made cards and steal my ribbon whenever i try to tie a bow!

Her favourite place however is a box lid that i use to catch the paper scraps when cutting out, i can guarantee that whatever she is doing, as soon as i settle down to begin cutting a design she will jump on my lap, on to the tray and snuggle down to sleep..... the mere fact that she gets covered in paper doesnt seem to bother her at all!

Well i finally did it! I have been wanting to go on the Emirates Air Line ever since it was built but with my fear of heights it was always going to be a test of nerves.

Now dangling 90 metres above the River Thames is not really my idea of a good time but i do like to try most things if i can so i finally plucked up the courage....and it was great!

I was a bit nervous as we left the docking area and i gripped my husbands hand very tightly but once i started looking around at the views my fears disappeared.

It was wonderful but over too quickly so now im looking forward to my next flightHere are two of my favourite latest makes

On a recent trip to the O2 Arena my husband tried to convince me that a trip on the Emirates Air Line would be a good idea...i wasn't so sure however! I have never had much of a head for heights and remember feeling quite faint when i braved a ride on the London Eye a few years ago.The thought of dangling above the River Thames at 300ft fills me with dread!! I do hope to pluck up the courage one day though as i'm sure the views are spectacular and it is very close to where we live.....for now though,i think i will keep my feet firmly planted on solid ground. Here are two of my most recent makes....

As the weather was so nice over the Easter weekend it was finally time to make a start on our garden revamp.We used to have such a pretty little garden that was built from scratch when we moved into our new home 23 years ago.Unfortunately the roots from a tree, that was planted on the other side of our back fence,began to grow under our garden and killed our lawn and plants so we are having to start from scratch again. This time the theme will be low maintenance and hubby has made a start on the decking.He will be doing most of the work himself and as he is always so busy at work it could take a little time,he does assure me it will be finished in time for summer though so i'm already planning our first barbecue...so roll on summer!
