With June, comes Floridas rainy hurricane season. Its raining everyday now with storms that last about 2-3 hours. Then the sky clears up and a beautiful sunny day is ours to enjoy!
I love Florida, land of Disney World, oranges and sunshine, and now Im getting use to the storms every year.
Thanks for looking, I hope you like my newest designs, I certainly love creating them, each and every one.
When my daughter came south to visit me for my birthday, we decided to go to Disney World, again. We had been there numerous times previously so this time, we decided to leave the Magic Kingdom to the kids.
We concentrated on doing some heavy duty shopping in Disney Springs, nearby. We found a lot of terrific clothing, they do sell gorgeous things! Not very many sales as the tourist season is still early.
I am blessed to live in an area in Florida, USA, where there are a lot of places for fun and swimming.
The beaches are open and plenty of families are enjoying the fun in the sun already.
The sunshine is warm, the boats are being launched and best of all the beaches are beautiful and the water is warming up.
Most people have already begun to swim in their pools and to get a head start on their tans. Its nice to smell the aromas from the BBQ grills and hear the children laughing as they play outside. No wonder they call this the sunshine state!
I was so happy to see my wonderful daughter, Kelly this past week. She drove 2,000 miles to see me for my birthday! She is so sweet and kind, we had a great time. Some girl fun, we got pedicures and had a delicious lunch afterwards.
She fell in love with my cat, Bela (pronounced Bee La), depending on what language you are speaking; Italian, Spanish, English or Russian.
She is a Ragdoll cat. Thanks for looking and have a go at my 2 newest designs, the Twist and Pop Card Kit and/or Octagonal Gift Bag.
I was contacted by a woman on Ancestry.com. She found my family tree including my husbands. Apparently 40+ years ago, she was unfortunately given up for adoption. She had her DNA tested and found she was a close match to my husband, (Uncle).
She had been looking for her biological parents for years and they had been looking for her as well. After careful verification and photos, the parents and long lost daughter were connected! She will really be able to celebrate St. Patricks Day this year, she has red hair just like ALL her relatives!!A very, very happy ending to this amazing story! Thanks for stopping by.
