This is two of my grandkids at the fright fest at Six Flags over GA. The amusement park sets up a grand scale Halloween exhibit including a haunted house, characters that roam the park, a hearse with flames painted on it, and of course all of the park rides.
There are lots of food venues including a fifties style diner. They had a great time and can't wait to return, for some more fun, rides, and fear!!
This photo was taken of my granddaughter Olivia at the Disney on Ice event held at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA.
With her magic wand in hand, this was the expression on her face during the performance of Let it Go from the Frozen film.
Having all of the characters come to life was so exciting for her, as this is her favorite movie and song.
She even had a Frozen theme for her birthday party this year.
This is a glorious view from our hotel window on a recent visit to Cherokee, North Carolina. With the leaves starting to change color, and a chill in the air, it was the perfect time to make the trip.
My husband and I had a nice visit with my sister and her husband and we all celebrated my husband's birthday, having a lovely dinner a the Ruth Chris Restaurant.

A leisurely sunset dinner was a beautiful start to an anniversary get away weekend for my son Will and his bride lovely Morgan.
They were celebrating their eighth wedding anniversary. The view is from the Sun Dial Restaurant 72 floors up, atop the Westin Peachtree Plaza, in Atlanta, Georgia.
With a stunning view of the city, and a menu from that has a variety of appetizers, main dishes that feature seasonally influenced dishes to fabulous southern cuisine, a nice selection of scrumptious desserts, and a full bar.
When my granddaughter went to the local fair, she decided to have a little circus fun, having her face painted like a cat.
Olivia loves posing for the camera, but I have to admit, it turned out to be very effective!
Having a great time walking, and eating, along with some carnival games and rides. A day to remember for a fun loving five year old.
