Hunting Season

Well it is hunting season in Georgia, USA. Pictured are my stepson, Josh, daughter-in-law Brooke, and their two sons. The older is Dawson, and the younger is Cameron. As a family they do so many things together. Hunting is on exception with this crew.

Josh and Brooke also have two daughters, but only one of them hunt. The youngest daughter would rather be cheer leading, reading a book, or doing something girly. Never a dull moment with a large family!

Moving Onward

Now that high school softball is finished for the school year, it is time to move on to travel ball.

My granddaughter Riley has such a love for this sport. She plays year round.

With her goal of being involved in sports medicine when she finishes college, she puts her talents to very good use.

She has the hope of getting a college scholarship to help offset the cost of higher education, by doing what she loves.

Great job Riley!

The Halloween Challenge

Every year my son William tries to out-do his costume from the year before. He researches, orders supplies and then he gets to work on the costume. His wife Morgan does all of his makeup every year. She actually does it twice.

There is a practice makeup session...then on Halloween she does the makeup again! Then she has to get their daughter made up, so she can go for Trick-or-Treat. This has become a fun and fascinating adventure for our entire family. We all wait for the pictures on Halloween night!

Softball

Hi everyone! This is my granddaughters softball team photograph. She goes to Eastside High School. The team (Lady Eagles) region 4AAAA champion softball team will host Spalding HS in a doubleheader in the 2nd round of the GHSA state playoffs!

It takes so much practice and dedication to make it to the playoff games. The Lady Eagles win, and advance to game 3. The winner advances to Columbus and the Finals. A proud moment!

Music Midtown

Pictured is my son William, and my daughter-in-law Morgan. They made the most of a long weekend by going to a two day music festival called Music Midtown, at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia.

The festival has been a yearly event since 1994.

This year the main music attraction was Bruno Mars. The attendance this year was nearly 130,000 people. As you can see by the photo, they had a fabulous time. William loves music, so this was the perfect weekend for fun, excitement, relaxation....and of course music!!
