News & Updates from Craft Box Designs · Page 2
Some of you may know I have a caravan in my garden which I rent out to tourists. Every year my cousin and his family come to stay in it because they love the Isle of Mull.
This year, as a thank you to us, my cousin painted this picture of our house. I have bought it a nice frame and it will hang with pride of place in our home. These are some of my new Mix'n'Match designs.
I can get two cards from one sheet using the tags as hanging toppers.
I've recently been down to England to visit my grandchildren. In the photo you can see Phoebe trying to climb into her doll's buggy and Finlay engrossed in his Ipad! When I got home I found that my Broadband was off again.
It seems to have been off more than it's been on since Christmas and has consequently impacted on the amount of new designs I've been able to upload - very frustrating! I have managed to get some new designs on the site in the last few days so please check them out.
I hope you'll find something you like. Thank you for looking. These two cards are from a series of 10 quick to make scalloped edge cards.
Well that storm last week knocked out our Broadband for 5 days and I felt as if I'd had my arm amputated!
Being so isolated I really do miss not being able to catch up with my friends on Facebook and CUP every day.
I couldn't do any online shopping.
I couldn't put money into my daughter's bank account for her birthday. The ferries weren't running so we got no post or fresh food. But there must be an upside to living here, right? And my photo shows what it is - after the seas calmed down, I looked out my window and there they were - "my" seals were back....
Bobbing about, watching me as I watched them! I haven't wasted my time either. I've designed some new cards which I've called Accordion Zig Zag Cards. I hope you like them. Merry Christmas everyone! The frames of these cards zig zag and the centres of the cards zig zag in the opposite direction!
Hi Folks! I've just been to England for a little break. My granddaughter turned one year old last week and her family moved house in the same week so my husband and I went down to help unpack the boxes.
Because I'm still in a splint because of my tendonitis I had babysitting duties and I think I was the lucky one.
Phoebe is very cute and very placid.
She even learned to say, "Grandad" while we were there but she hasn't mastered "Grandma" yet. My daughter and I had fun shopping for new things for the house and I even managed to see my parents and two of my sisters whilst I was there.
It was a busy weekend and now I'm back at home - on restricted computer duty because of my wrist but I've managed to design some new monochrome cards.
Here are two of my monochrome lace cards.
This is a photo of my eldest grandson Finlay, learning to drive a "tractor" with his grandad. (It's really a sit-on mower but to the kids it's a tractor!) I've been designing cards with men in mind this last week and thought I'd show you a couple called Classic Car 1 & 2.
