I've just had a lovely meeting with cardmaker Sue Needham and her husband and dog.
They are staying in the holiday cottage along the road from my house so we met up on the beach in front of my house (which is in the photo) to let the dogs have a run and a swim.
There were at least 7 seals in the bay watching us and before we came out of our house Sue had seen 3 otters - one of which had a cub.
Hi Everyone, I was missing last week because I was in England with my daughter whilst she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl called Phoebe Molly, who weighed 7lbs 2 oz.
Mother and baby are both doing very well.
I'd like to thank everyone for their good wishes on the Forum and on Facebook. I hope you like the photo. Sheila x
I thought people might be interested to see the transport I use to go shopping!
Although I live on the Isle of Mull and there is a Co-op in Tobermory, it's about a 100 mile round trip from my house so it's nearer to get the ferry to Oban on the mainland and get my shopping there.
Plus there are far more shops there! It's a very relaxing journey and lovely in the summer.
Once I was travelling over and during the 45 minute crossing I saw a basking shark, seals and porpoises! The castle on the right of the photo is Duart Castle, home of the Clan Maclean and I used to work there; baking cakes for the tea room.
I did another Craft Fair on Friday which went well. I'd decided to extend my stock this time, and aswell as selling my cards I also sold gingerbread men, keyrings, toys, hats and little girl's bags - all made by me in the last month!
My bags were best sellers and I even got an order for a black clutch bag for the Christmas sale!
I'll be putting any remaining stock onto my CraftyBob.com shop when I have time.
Yesterday I had another very successful craft fair at our village hall - in fact my most successful one yet which was very encouraging.
My best sellers by far are my triple twist easel cards, closely followed by my internal window cards.
I think the first because they are unusual and have a wow factor, and the second because they are small so cheap to post. I also met a Craftsuprint customer called Chris Wykes but was so busy talking to her and her husband that I forgot to get a photograph!
Those two lucky people are having a three week holiday touring around in their camper van. Hope the weather stays fine for you Chris and it was lovely to meet you!
