News & Updates from Diane Hannah · Page 9
Hi crafters and designers! I have been away for a while now, as our family was preparing to move. With work, packing, and showing our previous home there was just no time for creating card sheets. We are now settling into our new house, which was not easy.
Moving from a large home to a smaller home was not a simple task. It means downsizing considerably. Then the job of unpacking and finding a home for each item. The photo is our backyard, which is on a small lake. There are an abundance of fish in this little lake, and we love to fish!
I am hoping to do design work on a regular basis again, with lots of bumper kits. As always thank you for looking, God Bless, and Hugs.
This is my wonderful granddaughter, Olivia. Her school recently held their yearly father daughter dance. She was so excited to go. Olivia had her hair done at a salon, had her nails polished, and bought a new dress and shoes. She looks so delighted in the photo.
Her mom took so many pictures, it was hard to choose just one photo for this news story. Thank you to all of the crafters for purchasing my sheets and making the most beautiful cards. You are all so amazing!
Hi everyone! Hope this community news finds all of you well and ready for the busy holiday season that is upon us.
This is my sister Victoria. She is a cross-fit trainer, runner and all around good person.
In this photo she is at the gym, taking a break from training to socialize and have a little party / cook-out with her fellow athletes.
In addition to athletics she also volunteers with special needs adults near her home. She takes them on outings, brings them lunch, and helps them to participate in special Olympics bowling. I am so proud to call her my sister and my friend!
I recently had a booth at a local fall festival. First thing when we arrived at 6:00 AM, the organizers had hot coffee and doughnuts for all of the vendors, very nice touch.
There was staff to help set up tents and help unload the participants craft items.
I had handmade bird feeders, and wind chimes. I had the pleasure of spending the day and with my dear friend, Betty and my grandson. They were also both so very helpful. In all there were 150 vendors.
The food was amazing, and there was a huge crowd, that seemed to enjoy the day with their families and shopping.
Taking a holiday in Florida is one of my favorite things to do. For the second time in a month we had to cancel plans due to hurricanes. The first was not so bad, but this most recent one called Matthew was devastating for the east coast of the USA.
The photos are of my brothers home, the before and after. They suffered lots of wind, flooding, and rain. Thankfully they evacuated and were safe. Their house did not have too much damage, but the yard had a lot of debris and tree branches. I think Ill wait until after hurricane season to plan another trip.
